Ball and socket rifle carrier.

Postby Nigel » 19 Dec 2016 15:08

I have a ball and socket rifle device on my plate-carrier, so rather than using a sling the stock has a slim Velcro wrap with ball attachment and the socket fitting velcros on to molle. Could someone tell me the proper term for this and also where I could find another, mail order as I'm in UK. Ta.

I would love to help. but I've never even heard of such a device. I suggest you post this question under Weaponry. Someone who posts regularly under that heading might know.

Dark Horse Arming Constructs - a start up venture operating out of Sterling, VA produced something like you are describing. They called it the RBS system for "rifle ball stock". It was not well received with the units that got to play with it....
