Thank you, I got to get to work on a sheath or at least a cover for the blade.

That piece of inner tube up the handle was a good idea. Protection and tinder. I put a piece on the hawk and it was so good to me I put a piece on another cheap hatchet I have. Also slid a nice, tight piece on the metal handle of my hi lift jack.
