DIY Motorized Bicycles

We found a way to mount motors (Weedeater, Honda etc.) on ordinary bicycles. Makes a cleaver, inexpensive and gas saving way to get around.

Last summer my wife and I were having dinner on the deck of our favorite Italian restaurant.
Looking down on the street below I saw a fat-tire electric bike go by at approximately 30-mph as silent as a ghost.
I was taken aback. So fast and so quiet, I immediately recognized potential for avoiding Zombies.
Add an IR headlight and a set of AN/PVS-17 Night Vision Goggles and you're in business.
Then today I found this:

Talk about a "Get-Home" force multiplier!!

I like the bike so I googled it and found the price. I would have to be Donald Trump to afford one at $2085.00 - http://www.electric-bikes.com/betterbikes/foldable.html
The Weedeater version kit is $300.00.
